About The Event
Hack the Community is a 1 day hackathon event to take place in the Northwest community of West Palm Beach, FL on May 18th for all ages. Hosted by Creative + Development, in partnership with the City of West Palm Beach, the Knight Foundation, Salvation Army, and IBM, Hack the Community is dedicated to introducing technology as an innovative approach to solving problems facing communities in the education, health care, housing, emergency response, and other systems as community members, city officials and leaders work together in teams to develop solutions (and prototypes) using IBM design thinking process.
